Toys for Tots

It came to our attention in 2017 that Canadian Tire was no longer in a position to store the toys collected at the Salvation Army Mississauga Temple for the Toys for Tots campaign. We were approached by the Peel Police asking if we would be in a position to store the toys in our containers at our terminal at Southdown Road. We were happy to offer up our transportation and storage services for free. Each year we look forward to working with Joel on transporting the containers to the Salvation Army in November and returning them to our terminal in January for its yearly storage. Our drivers volunteer their time to do this move as well. Learn more about Musket's partnership with the salvation army on CHET's blog.

Make-A-Wish

Musket became a Make-A-Wish supporter in 2017. Employees were encouraged to donate during company events and throughout the collection campaign. During our company barbeques we had specialty menu items that required a donation at any amount to further support our donation drive. Our driver management team also set up payroll deductions when requested by drivers. Our support has been paused due to COVID-19 due to our inability to host company events and other business-related impacts. We remain in close contact with the organization and circulated sponsored holiday e-cards in 2021 to our employees, vendors, and customers; proceeds went to Make-A-Wish. Throughout the pandemic our brokerage division has assisted the organization in arranging specialty moves that grant wishes for children as well.
