Toronto is busily preparing to host the upcoming Pan Am Games and Parapan Games. The Pan American Games are the world's third largest international multi-sport games. Torontonians will soon welcome close to 7,000 athletes from across the Americas, who will put their years of dedicated training to the test from July 10th to 26th (Pan Am Games) and August 7th to 15th (Parapan Games).
In addition to the athletes and their families, friends and coaches, 20,000 volunteers and countless sports aficionados are expected to fill the shops, hotels, restaurants and streets of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
Heavy traffic, road closures and delays are expected in the locations of the Pan Am and Parapan events around the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions within the province of Ontario.
The Musket Transport Ltd. logistics team will be monitoring the schedule and location of the events. By taking a proactive approach to modifying our scheduling, we hope to avoid any unnecessary issues and minimize delivery and pick up delays.
